The valuable Emser thermal water consists of more than 30 minerals and trace elements. Hydrogen carbonate ions (HCO3) make up the largest proportion. Together with the sodium and chloride ions (composition of table salt and sea salt), they are what make Emser thermal water so special.
Natural Emser salt®is the only salt with a proven pharmacological effect on the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract. The internationally renowned Emser salt®Pastilles are obtained by gently evaporating the Ems thermal water. The temperature at the outlet of the Robert Kampe spring is 56.6°C.
The natural Emser salt®can be found in the Emser®Inhale salt inhalation.

Thermal water has a positive effect on a wide range of physical complaints. Regular treatments have been proven to achieve a valuable improvement.
For the greatest possible effect when thermal bathing, you should always start with the least warm pool and then move on to increasingly warmer areas. In addition, the circulation is stimulated in particular by bathing in alternating hot and cold pools.
The optimum length of stay in the thermal water of the Emser Therme is around 20 minutes and an appropriate rest period of 20-30 minutes after each bathing session makes you fit for further sessions. What's more, if you listen to your body, you will instinctively know what is good for you.
Bath time and rest time should alternate in a balanced way, as should hot and cold bathing.
