Emser Therme GmbH endeavors to make its digital offerings accessible without barriers. This declaration applies to www.emser-therme.de and www.emser-thermenhotel.de.

General web content: For the assessment of the accessibility of our websites, we are guided by Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and BITV 2.0 (benchmark: WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA)

E-commerce parts (shop/appointment agreement/booking): The requirements of the BFSG/BFSGV (standard: EN 301 549) apply to our e-commerce services.

Description of the service:
We inform visitors about all the offers of the Emser Therme and the Emser ThermenHotel on our websites. There are also links to the online store, appointment booking and room booking on the websites.

Status of compatibility / degree of conformity:
Our websites are partially compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549. The content listed below is currently not fully accessible. We are working to rectify this as soon as possible.

The following contents are not barrier-free as they are not compatible with the underlying harmonized standard EN 301 549:

• There are iframe elements without labels on individual pages. Navigation with screen readers to the iframes is difficult.
• There are form fields without labels on several pages. It is difficult to navigate to the form fields with screen readers.
• On some pages there are headings that have no caption or contain the aria-hidden attribute and are therefore not accessible for screen readers.
• There are iframe elements on individual pages whose labels are assigned multiple times. If the elements cannot be clearly assigned, this can lead to confusion for screen reader users.
• On individual pages, there are elements with the aria-hidden attribute that can be focused at the same time. This means that these elements are accessible for assistive technologies even though they should be hidden.
